Residential property management involves good people management!

Good communications skills are an important asset for residential letting agents, as Manchester‘s Sandra Savage has found out.

Sandra, owner of QuaLETy Ltd residential letting company, has learned that people management skills can be as beneficial as her wealth of property management expertise.
Using a mix of diplomacy and compromise she has liaised with landlords and tenants to help them find a happy middle ground on a range of issues from interior décor to policy on pets.

An established landlord of three properties herself, she said: “Tenants are often banned from keeping pets, but one of the landlords whose property I manage currently has a long-term lady tenant with a couple of dogs.

I helped negotiate a pet-friendly agreement whereby the tenant is responsible for any damage or refurbishments needed as a result of her pets in the event of her leaving the property. It means she is happy and the landlord still has a great tenant.”

Quality residential letting service

Manchester-based QuaLETy Ltd is an expanding residential letting and property management agency, run by experienced landlord Sandra Savage, who is keen to hear from both landlords and prospective tenants in the north west.
