 Speed can be beneficial
Just 2 weeks before mothers' day this year a client phoned and asked Fox Graphics to design the branding for a small business venture.
He has the most talented Florist who was young in business but had great promise. The challenge was to create a logo/branding that had to be something which could develop in the future should several shops be opened and/or a franchise evolve. The challenge was to create a logo,with stationery, marketing postcards, retail/van signage, stickers and website graphics. A tall order in such a short time frame.
Fox Graphics completed the project in time for mothers' day and the florist opened and has never looked back.
I recently spoke to the florist and discovered that she has won the contract with the Co-Op Funeral Directors for that area, which gives her steady regular commissions. Sara was up against 32 other established companies. I feel very proud of her achievement as she showed great skill and business presence to succeed in gaining this tender.
Clearly I wanted to know how the she felt the design and marketing helped her in any way to achieve her goal and assist her to reach where she wanted to be in business. "Oh, Gosh yes, she said, it gave me confidence to follow through with my skills, and they took me seriously in business, with my van signage and letter headed paper."
At the end of the day it's down to her skills and business presence that won the tender, but having professional business representation early on in business helps significantly to GET TO WHERE YOU WANT TO BE QUICKER!
