•Go to www.google.com/alerts
•Create a Google alert account.
•Create a new alert, insert a “keyword” for the subject you are interested in i.e. “sales training” in the empty box, select “feed” from the drop down menu, then create alert.
•Check the alert is providing the right info, click on the keyword as it is now linked, this will take you to the page that has all the latest documents about your keyword.
•Are they relevant to you? If not, be more specific with your keyword i.e. “key techniques on sales training”. Or edit and instead of comprehensive, select blogs.
•Choose how often you want to have the alerts updated e.g. as it happens, once a day. When happy, save your changes. |
